After Meiji-Ishin, Japanese people became wearing European style shoes. Japan has high temperature and high humidity climate. European style shoes caused athlete's foot to Japanese. Africa has some parts also have high temperature and high humidity climate. If Athlete's foot spread in there... Amuro had caused it. A national culture has been grown by its place, climate, people, or so on.
